He adorned the garland of lamps at the entrances of his homes and throughout Ayodhya in celebration of Shri Ramchandra returning to the city.

Residents of Ayodhya used fireworks to celebrate Shri Ram's visit to their city. Although there are many other reasons to celebrate this Diwali, this is seen to be the most significant one. Days such as Dhanteras, Bhai Dooj, Govardhan Puja, and Lakshmipujan We bring sweets and enjoy them with the entire family on this day when we express our excitement by making a lot of noise.
